The anti-adherent treatment should be applied to dry surfaces that have been cleaned and degreased. Dry ice or sand blasting of the moulds is not necessary, but can improve product quality in certain cases.
The frequency of application depends on the complexity of the mould and the aggressiveness of the moulded material.
When stored in its original packaging at a temperature of between +2°C and +30 °C, BLUESIL RES 10372 may be stored for up 12 months from its date of manufacture.

BLUESIL RES 10372
BLUESIL RES 10372 is a silicon resin supplied in toluene which is mainly used to provide improved release and anti-adherence of thermoplastics and thermosets (PUR, polyesters, epoxyresins…). BLUESIL RES 10372 is most often used in formulations with silicone oils, organic oils and waxes.
BLUESIL RES 10372 can also be used in foam control. In a specific case it serves as "blowing agent" allowing the foaming of plastisols in a mechanical process, at an operating temperature lower than that used for chemically blown foams.
The use of BLUESIL RES 10372 in formulations offers the following advantages:
Excellent adherence on the mould surface
Permanent anti adherent effect which provides multiple releases
Excellent thermal stability
