Curing conditions: vulcanization 8 min at 115°C, post cure 4 hours at 200°C.

3. Compounding rules
The additives have to be incorporated in the HCR base at a temperature maintained below 35°C, as follows:

1 - First refresh the master batch.
Then add the Polyaddition additives:
2 - Add BLUESIL XLA 3 and BLUESIL ADD 714 additives together.
Homogenize the mixture (we suggest to do at least 10 cross-passes on roll mill).
3 - Add BLUESIL PA 2000 additive (Platinum catalyst).
Homogenize the mixture to get the final product (we suggest to do at least 10 cross-passes on roll mill).
The final compound should be transformed just after mixing.
It is essential to ensure the cleanliness of the tools and compounding areas in order to be free of any possible pollution.
In fact the polyaddition reaction can be slowed down or even inhibited on contact with acid, basic products or substances containing for example sulphur, amine, tin salts….

Avoid discharge into drains, water courses or onto the ground. Store in a cool, dry place with adequate ventilation. Keep away from incompatible materials, open flames, and high temperatures. BLUESIL ADD 714

BLUESIL XLA 3, BLUESIL ADD 714 and BLUESIL PA 2000 are additives for Polyaddition for extrusion:

  • BLUESIL XLA 3 is the cross-linker (SiH source)
  • BLUESIL ADD 714 is the inhibitor.
  • BLUESIL PA 2000 is the Platinum catalyst.
