Bluestar Silicones

Lyon – February 1st 2010 - Bluestar Silicones will be at the Mondial des Métiers exhibition which will take place at Lyon Eurexpo exhibition centre from February 4th to 7th 2010. Their involvement is part of a partnership with the Union des Industries Chimiques designed to make the professions of the Chemical industry known to the general public.
 
The exhibition is open to the general public, allowing Bluestar Silicones to meet secondary school pupils, students and their families to talk about their expertise in high-tech silicone products and explain the diversity of professions involved in specialty chemicals.
Throughout the exhibition, professionals from Bluestar Silicones will be present on the stand to share their passion for chemistry, representing the professions in the various fields of Technical Assistance, Analytical Control, Communications, Maintenance, Production, R&D and Human Resources.

This year, Bluestar Silicones has chosen to illustrate its involvement as a major regional player in Chemicals and the Environment with a demonstration unit showing the use of silicone antifoams in water treatment.
