Bluestar Silicones would like to extend its sympathy to all those who have suffered following the dramatic and tragic events which have struck Japan in the previous days.

We have taken the precaution to verify the situation with our major suppliers of critical raw materials and a local production site as to how the earthquake and Tsunami have effected their operations.

As far as we have been able to ascertain from our partners in Japan, the supply chain of materials that influence our production in various plants around the world will not be immediately affected. In the medium term we have plans to assure the situation and of course verify with secondary sources where necessary but for the short term we do not expect any disruption to the service from Bluestar Silicones international linked to the current events in Japan. There may be an on-going worry with transport in general to, from and within the island, the impact of which is unknown today. We will regularly update the situation as the crisis and its management develops locally in Japan.
