APPLICATIONS
Coatings anti-adhesive for rigid molds
Bluestar Silicones is the recognized supplier of silicone resins and elastomers for culinary treatment of small domestic appliances, molds and materials in the food industry. Silicones give good surface hardness to coatings and outstanding release properties, excellent chemical inertness and very easy washing of molds without the use of detergents.

Antifoam
Silicones are used as process agents in food processes. Bluestar Silicones anti-foams are used as a process aid in animal and human food applications. Silicones provide outstanding control of foam formation.

Beverage dispenser

Cork stoppers treatment
The release coating of natural or agglomerate corks for alcoholic beverage bottles. This silicone coating allows the use of high-throughput machines.
Silicones give modular release properties, improved corking sealing, outstanding water repellency, retention of silicone coating properties, a lack of anti-foaming effect and the wine is free to “breathe”.
